"I guess I've figured out why the doors are so wide..."
As Evan wandered around his new neighborhood looking for something to eat or someplace to buy food, one of the first things he noticed was the sheer enormity of nearly all the furs. The smallest fur he saw was probably still weighed well over 300 pounds. Not like the lion was judging or anything. But it's hard not to notice when nearly every fur you see takes up most of the sidewalk and waddles at half the speed you walk. The only furs that weren't so obese were obvious tourists wearing "I Port Zaftig!" shirts and were snapping photos.
This, though, wasn't Evan's concern. The lion's concern right now was filling his stomach on something more substantial than the gas station snack he had been living off of for the past four days.
After nearly an hour of walking, Evan spotted a few potential places. First, there was a a local bakery which smells of delicious freshly baked bread and various baked goods as he walked by. He also found a Mexican restaurant that was serving its lunch special pretty soon, and Mexican food was one of Evan's favorites! He had also passed by a seedy tavern along the way. Not only may they have something to eat there, but he could get a nice beer with his meal too. Or there was a pizza place called Purgatory Pizza.
Then again, Evan practically brought no food with him. A meal certainly sounds nice, but he should probably do the mature thing and actually go shopping. Luckily, there was a supermarket not too far away from his apartment.
