Chapter #5

Not Exactly Photogenic

    by: Mindovermatter Author IconMail Icon
The familiar mechanical whirring sounds came to life when Evan knocked on the front door to Derrick's apartment. A second later and the door popped open. Evan let himself in, shutting the door behind him. "Derrick? It's Evan!" he said but heard nothing. As he approached the bedroom, the lion heard the faint noise of running water off in the distance.

The bedroom was empty. In place of a massive German Shepard was a huge indent in the mattress no doubt thanks to the dog's heavy rear crushing the springs for so long. The noise of running water was coming from the bathroom where Evan peaked in to find Derrick showering. His rump, two globes of cellulite-covered pudge, pressed against one of the glass walls of the shower stall as soap and water cascaded down every bludge and roll.

Quitely, Evan backed away from the bathroom and figured he ought to come back another time. Crossing through the bedroom again, the lion spotted a half-closed laptop on the far side of Derrick's bed. Curious, he opened it up and peaked at what the dog was working up.

The internet browser was opened up to the dog's email where he had the following draft opened:

To: modeling@hth.com
Subject: Application

Message:

Hello,

I'm sending in materials in response to your calls for models to apply. If there are

The email stopped there. Attached to the message we're several photos. Evan glanced at the thumbnails. All of them were of Derrick showing off his bulky body. In one, he's in his bed taking a selfie while devouring a burger, dozens of wrappers covering his lap. Another shows the big dog trying to take a photo over his shoulder of his rump, at least, as best as he can. A third showed Derrick standing in front of a full length mirror, his body too wide for it, his bare guy hanging almost all the way down to his knees. None of the photos were particularly good. They were a bit blurry and out of focus. Judging by the looks of them, Derrick was doing the best he could snapping photos of himself by himself.

Before he could check out the rest of the photos, the lion heard the squeak of the shower knobs turning, then the running water stopped. Evan didn't want to get caught snooping, so he closed the laptop just as he found it and carefully tiptoed out of the front door, gently shutting the door behind him.

The lion wasn't sure exactly what the dog was up to, sending off photos of his naked, massive body. He could straight up ask Derrick about it, but Evan would have to admit snooping on his laptop. Then again, the lion knew where he was sending the photos to. Maybe searching online for that email would lead somewhere.

You have the following choices:

*Noteb*
1. Ask Derrick about the photos

2. Searching online for "modeling@hth.com"

*Noteb* indicates the next chapter needs to be written.
