Chapter #6Space Colony ARK - Sally awakens you by: Former182   Somehow, Sally and NICOLE had found out about Space Colony ARK from a data base they found on one of their adventures. According to what they had found, It was a Bernal Sphere ▼ A space habitat meant as a long term home for permanent residents , though it seemed like it was also made for scientific testing and experimentation of all kinds. The ones that made the ARK were humans like Robotnik and Snively, but seemed far kinder. Two researches caught Sally's attention.
One was a more advanced version of the Roboticization system. As she reviewed the information, Sally thought, 'Apparently, Uncle Chuck recreated it by pure chance. This one is able to undo every single Roboticization, but needs a chaos emerald.'
The other was one of its Weapon researches, EMP Wave cannons.
Nicole said, "Sally, according to my research, IF you fire the EMP Wave Cannons to disable Robotnik's machines.I will be safe aboard the ARK. After that, there probably will be enough equipment aboard the ARK to build a new computer mainframe for me on Mobius."
The reason why Robotnik never used the ARK against Sonic and the Freedom Fighters was a simple one. He didn't know it existed because it was hidden within the Moon itself.
Not wanting him to find out, Sally and a few select others built a space ship in secret. It may have been a small one, but it would carry Sally, NICOLE, and a good amount of equipment to go to the moon and back.
As Sonic and the other Freedom Fighters distracted Robotnik enough for Sally's Space Ship to launch without being detected, Sally stared at the Ship's power source, a Chaos Emerald.
As she left Mobius's Atmosphere and neared the moon, she noted a metal structure. NICOLE determined there was a door on it, so Sally landed the Ship near it.
After making sure her spacesuit was properly put on, Sally left her ship and entered the structure.
After the door closed, there was a hum noise and a hissing noise. NICOLE said, "Scans have shown that we are in an elevator and that breathable air is being pumped in. You may remove the Space Suit, Sally."
After a moment to ponder, Sally did so. Once the elevator stopped and the door opened, Sally gasped, "Wow... So much technology... but unlike Robotnik's there's a feeling of... hope in them."
There were all sorts of robotics and inventions in various displays, as if it was museum or a salesfloor. Barely any seemed threatening. Most seemed like they were intended to be inviting or friendly.
But like any museum after hours or abandoned, there was a sense of sadness.
"I have detected a terminal that I can connect to," NICOLE said as a map appeared on her screen.
Sally nodded before she said, "And with it, we're one step closer to freeing Mobius."
After connecting NICOLE to the terminal, Sally waited.
NICOLE finally spoke, "Sally, I have located the Roboticization equipment and the EMP Wave Cannons, but there is a problem we did not realize."
"What is it?" Sally asked, feeling scared that all the efforts of herself, her friends, and her allies were going up in smoke.
NICOLE quickly explained. "Both require a current member of Space Colony ARK, but do not fear. I have located the Stasis beds, where there is one last human. While they came aboard as a civilian, due to how ARK's programming was written, they are now the highest Authority and can authorize usage of everything here for you."
Sally smiled. "Then let's hope they'll be understanding and willing to help."

As you woke up in your stasis pod, You saw an anthropomorphic Chipmonk woman wearing an orange Spacesuit. She looked quite concerned.
As you slowly sat up, you said, "H-hello, I am Y/N. Who are you?"
"I am Princess Sally Acorn of the Acorn Kingdom. The Long story is that I and others like me live on Mobius, which was your Earth long ago," She explained. "We need your help in defeating Robotnik, who is an Overlander. Overlanders are a slightly mutated race of humans. He's turning my people into robots called Robians who are forced to obey him."
She looked away in anger. "He's turning my.. our planet into a toxic wasteland where only he has free will. My friends and I have been fighting for years, only small successes each time."
She looked at you with pleading eyes. "Please... help save the planet, our planet."
You stared at her for a few moments before you nodded. "Alright, Princess. Lead the way and I'll gladly help you in any way I can."   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
