Before the beginning

In the land of Gensokyo, where the forgotten and the lost resides, stood a man who lived in the human village. His name was Kagero Koizumi, an average human who was a guardsmen who looked after the gate at the entrance of the village. He was well respected man due to his respect for the villagers and defended the village with valor. One day, after his work he was walking toward his home until he overheard someone’s talk.

“Have you heared about the legendary artifact that grants the wielder unlimited power?” One man said.

“Yeah I heard, but it’s dangerous.” Other man replied.

Kagero was intrigued by this and came toward them.

“Excuse me sirs, What is this artifact you’re talking?” Kagero asked.

“Oh, haven’t you heard? There’s a rumor spreading through the village about this artifact that would grant the person unlimited power, but it’s dangerous.” One man said.

“Why?” Kagero asked.

“Because that artifact is rumored to be hidden in the scarlet manor, that’s why.” One man answered.

Kagero were aware that the vampire and it’s allies lived in that manor. Kagero thought for moment, thinking that maybe he could find this artifact and use it to defend the village.

“Hm...that is a good information you’ve got...I think I should pay a visit there.” Kagero said.

Both mens gasped to hear that word, and told him not to go there, but Kagero insisted to go, so he turned to the village mayors office to see if he could grant his wish and went off..
