"Ha!" Mataro shouts as he is running away from the school to get back home. "It was way too easy to swipe that stupid watch from Mr. Mikisugi, but to think that weirdo would have something like this in his desk!"
As it turned out, Mataro listened in on some of Ryuko and Mikisugi secret meetings thinking he might be able to get an eyeful, but instead he was plotting against the school with Ryuko. So as all good thieves go, he went to get some dirt on him so if he ever got into a hard scrap in school he would have some black mail material to use.
Instead he found a get away device in his desk, something that could help him slip out of Honnouji Academy undetected. A shrink watch, something that Mataro decided to swipe and put to use for his own antics.
Arriving home in a rush he went to his bed and immediately hid the watch under his pillow and waited for the perfect moment to strike.
After a dinner of mystery meat, he went back to his bed and put the watch on, and went over to the bathroom door. As usual Ryuko was getting ready to take her evening shower before bed. Mataro being a clever kid knew exactly how to play his move, cracking the door open slightly, making a slight noise, and activated the watch quickly shrinking to 3 inches tall. Not even a minute later, the door opened and a fist punched at where his head would have been at normal height. As Ryuko looks around confused as to what could have disturbed her as she conducted her evening routine, Mataro ran into the bathroom, passing Ryuko's feet on the way, and hiding under the the sink.
Meanwhile, Ryuko closed the door and went back to.....
