A slave in the Zehm Empire

The Zehm were a race of humanoid aliens who had a strict and authoritarian feudal government where everything and everyone was the personnel property of the pharaoh and the nobility that served her. They also believed that their race was the pinnacle of creation and that they were destined to make the entire galaxy submit to their rule.
It's only natural that a war would break out between them and one of their neighbors. So who will this story be following?
