Swapping brains with Weiss was turning out to be one of the best decisions Ruby ever made. Before, she never would've though of using the remote to build the perfect Huntress. Oh it was amazing what a little book knowledge could do for someone.
The first thing she'd do was swap ages with her sister. The standard age for enrolling at Beacon Academy was seventeen, she was an exception though. She skipped ahead two years and was invited to join the school at only fifteen.
While an impressive achievement, it came with a myriad of problems. The main one being that she was fifteen. Compared to everyone else she was the least experienced and there were more than a few students who didn't take her seriously as a result.
Even Weiss in the beginning thought of her as nothing more than an annoying child. Of course her perception changed over time, but it still served as her introduction to how other students might view her.
She then thought about how Yang might be affected by her decision to swap ages. Yang was outgoing and didn't really care about what others thought. That and she could put most people through a wall with a single punch. The more Ruby thought about it, the more she realized Yang was the perfect choice. While everyone was distracted she aimed the remote and fired.
A green beam struck Yang from behind while looked herself over and Ruby was the first to notice the change. Her sister's hair began to to shorten, tying itself into a familiar pair of short pigtails. Her height also decreased and her bust began to recede. Her clothes also shrank to match her stature. It only took a few seconds, and before Ruby knew it, Yang looked exactly the way she did two years ago. She was fifteen again.
Ruby on the other hand was the complete reverse of her sister. Her height began to increase along with her chest, and her hair began to grow slightly, but remained short how she preferred it. Like with Yang it only took a few seconds. When it was all said and done, she took out her scroll and looked herself over in the camera. It worked, she was seventeen.
