Ruby decided she wanted to swap intelligence to see what it would be like to have Weiss's smartness while Weiss had to focus on studying.
"That would be amazing," Ruby muttered excitedly to herself. "Not only will I be super smart and intelligent but my grades will improve and Weiss will be the one that will get told what to do with her free time and studying habits.”
"Did you say some Ruby?" Weiss ask her.
"Uhh no. Not at all." Ruby responded back. She looked over her shoulder and noticed Weiss was sitting at her desk studying for the next exam in a couple of weeks. "Okay, time to see what it is like to be a smarty pants." Ruby said in a quiet voice so that Weiss couldn't hear her this time.
Ruby held up the remote and aimed at Weiss, who was currently occupied at the moment. There was no way she was going to turn around for no reason and see what was about to happen to her and her knowledge. Ruby pushes the Personal Info: Intelligent Swap button on the remote and a light green beam shot out, colliding into Weiss’ back on the first try. There wasn’t anything really noticeable at first and Ruby blinked a couple of times.
Suddenly, she could easily remember all the information discussed in class over the last few weeks.
"Woah, I am like SUPER SMART NOW!" She burst out loudly, getting Weiss's attention.
"Ruby can you calm down, I really am trying to study here but everything here is so tough, where is the action, where is the fun. All there are is just political and historical issues that just gives boring points on what we have in our society today and what builds on it." Weiss said sounding more like Ruby when she was studying then herself. “It’s hard to understand.”
"Weiss, I know you may not like studying, but you will hopefully need it someday in the near future when you are running your family business." Ruby said sounding more like Weiss instead of herself. She loved having the knowledge to say these things. Revenge was sweet like cookies.
"Yeah, I guess your right Ruby but it is just so hard, do you think we can take a breather and do something else like, train for the upcoming Vytal festival in a few months or just do something else that just gets our mind off of work and studying."
It seems the instructions were right. Some Personal Information Swaps change more than just the specific attribute. Because Weiss was no longer smart, she wanted to do other stuff over studying.
"I'm sorry Weiss, but studying and knowledge comes first, then we can relax and do something fun later.” Ruby replied still sounding more like Weiss every minute.
"Ohh." Weiss said. "But it is so booooring, Ruby. Can you at least help me on what we need to do for the upcoming test?"
"I'd be glad to Weiss." Ruby told her, pulling up a chair.
Just then, Yang and Blake returned to their team's dorm after finishing up a round of sparing in the training facility.
"Hey guys what's up?" Yang said to both her younger sister and Weiss.
"Hey, Yang." Ruby replied. "How have you and Blake been doing with your training?"
"It’s been going great, Blake came up with a sweet new combo for us.”
As Yang answered Ruby’s questions, Blake walks over to her bed and hoped up on her bunk bed to read her fantasy book, Ninja's of Love, when suddenly, Ruby got an idea.
Maybe she should swap intelligence around with everyone? Might be funny to see Yang acting smart like Weiss. Though, keeping Weiss’ intelligence doesn’t sound like a bad idea either.
