A Neighbor A Friend or a Stranger Maybe?

... then you picked out one of your...

... younger sister Anna's unmatched socks from the half filled basket of clean laundry.

Noticing all the articles of clothing were white opened the dryer door and retrieved the the two white hoodies and your Mom's white wind pants taking everything to the folding table to begin sorting the last of the weekly laundry. As you matched, folded and created separate piles depending on where they belonged, you wondered to yourself whether clean or soiled clothing would make a difference if what the voice from the light had actually said was true? Of course you wondered if your were just maybe being a little bit crazy and possibly suffering from a concussion as well? You weren't sure, but you were questioning whether trying this on anyone in your family was even a good idea. None of them kept any kind of secret or other gossip from each other so whatever happened they would all be sure to tell.

Maybe you should just see one of your friends or neighbors and ask them to help? Or maybe a complete stranger would be better? Then you wouldn't have to tell anyone at all!

Of course you could just forget the whole thing by simply accepting it all as a temporary hallucination suffered from the unexpected knock on the head opening the door to your closet, which would be the simplest and probably best course of action under the circumstances.

During all of this and arriving on the second floor ready to put the finished laundry away it seemed the stairs hadn't helped the the headache at all and maybe relaxing for a while might be the best thing to do next. Catching a glimpse of Christina out in her back yard through Anna's window as the last items from the basket were being put away didn't offer a any kind of view to the suddenly lustful eyes searching for more. She seemed to be in a chair? Reading a book in a sun hat, shades and what was she wearing? The window was facing the back alley, not next door and into her yard!

It hadn't taken long to reach the knot hole in the fence your friend David has managed to loosened enough for the two of you to easily remove for the many hours spent taking turns, though mostly alone, wantonly gazing at Christina or her guests all hours of the the day or night. It was a lucky thing nobody else was home which your shorts would already confirm.

Peering through with the hole now open and able to comfortably squat on one foot resting a knee on a clump of your mother' perennials in the slightly raised garden bed the view was absolutely perfect! Christina lay back facing you on the half folded sun cot, her bare right foot off the side flat on the ground while her knee bent left pulled up and flat on the cot clearly revealing a hint of cheek and defining the femininity nestled within her navy blue short shorts while her pink and white flip flops sat idly at the near end. Over her bronzed belly her midriff white haler containing the desire you only wished rested on Chelsea's chest. All time and awareness was soon lost.

A while later, placing her book on the little round plastic table to her right, Christina arched forward dropping her left foot off the side of the cot resting it flat on the ground as she extended her arms up and back in a slow relaxing stretch which she held momentarily before quickly exhaling and siting to sit comfortably upright.

"Michael" she said holding her and turning her arms one at a time to the side assessing each for the effects of the sun, then together out in front of herself comparing the two to each other.

Half snapping out of your trance your head jolted backwards leaving you blankly staring at the fence boards. Did...somebody...call me? You sat in wonder trying futilely to fathom what that could possibly mean?

"Michael" Christina now resting her hands on her knees remained sitting alertly and listening having expected an answer the first time she called out a little bit louder
to you this time.

Catching your foot on a rock and tripping over backwards in surprise, from your back on your elbows and still gaining your footing Christina abruptly appeared over the top of the fence. Perched on the back row of rocks in the adjacent bedding from her own yard her arms lay across in front of her while her breasts gently sat on top.

Bedazzled by the site you again quickly forgot what you were doing and just lay there openly ogling your neighbor.

"Hiya Michael, how are you doing? Your mom said you took a nasty bump on the head this morning when I saw her earlier?" Christina's cheery greeting and bright smile going past you completely unnoticed.

"Michael...Michael? Yoo hoo, Michael?" she said now waving her hand up and down between your eyes and her breasts, adding

"O-ver HE-ere" in a musical lilt her smile still beaming brightly as your head began bobbing up and down finding both unison and slowly focusing on her moving hand.

"Uh-huh! Up, up, up! aaaaaand, yup! That's right, and higher? higher, uh-uh! and just a little... Hey! How are ya?" Your eyes finally met as Christina continued in the same cheery greeting undeterred.

"Your Mom told me you took a nasty bump on the head this morning, how are you feeling?" she asked slightly rephrasing with genuine concern.

"Huh? Oh...yeah, I got it pretty good, I guess. Didn't even see it coming." sort of looking off with your response remembering the closet and shaking your head in fault.

"Well what happened anyway? What do you mean you didn't... see it? Maybe start from the beginning? When you just got back from jogging with your mom?" regaining your attention she questioned with interest trying to help you along.

And you did. Everything. All of it. It just kind of all came out. All your memories, thoughts , feelings, concerns flowing naturally in an almost therapeutic manner leading right up to where you were now. You wanted to ask her how she knew you were behind the fence and in fact weren't sure you had accidently included it in your story.

The two of you stood quietly there together for a moment, each collecting your own thoughts on the matter, when Christina finally asked

"So you...do?...believe it's true then? And you're just not sure if the clothing has to be worn first or not?"

"I'm not sure what I believe either way to tell you the truth. It just seemed...so real that I don't not believe it either, If you know what I mean?" You truly were perplexed.

"I do know what you mean." she said nodding her head in agreement, then with a reassuring smile added

"I believe you too. Tell you what. If you want I'll try it with you and we can find out once and for all if you like? Maybe something small, or that won't rally be noticeable that we can hide? How do you feel about that?"

"Something unnoticeable like what?" you asked not really sure what be unnoticeable at all.

"Hmm... I was thinking...CHESTS!" She playfully blurted to your jaw dropping surprise!

"Kidding! Ha ha! No way, these girls are NOT going anywhere! Ha! No seriously, feet or something like that? We're both 5'10 and we both have size 8 feet. It would just mean you would become a size 6 and it would make me a size 10. That is unless you want to go traipsing around town in a nice pair of heels or flats with your new feet or something a little more hidden?" she finished raising a teasingly mischievous eyebrow and passing it to you.

Letting out a friendly chuckle replying,

"I might actually get a concussion if I tried that! Well maybe not in flats. It's good to know you actually believe me though, thanks. I was beginning to think I was going a little bit nuts over all this. I can't think of anything more hidden than feet about the same size though"

"Just take your time and make sure you are certain whatever you decide. If it's me or maybe Sarah? I don't think Melissa really could. Maybe if it's a friend instead? or a stranger like you said? Actually, if it's a stranger then I want to go with you. I might steal their clothes just for fun! Ha ha!! Now come here and lets see that bump. Come. Come." she finished beckoning you forward with her hands, though between them all you saw was the prize...
