You looked at Impa and pondered your chances.
After a few moments, you knew you had little chance of winning, but you knew that you would probably need her respect. So you said, “I know I won’t win, but it’d allow you to tell me what I’m really lacking in. So hand-to-hand?”
Impa smirked for a moment before she said, “Very well. Follow me to the training courtyard.”
So you, Zelda, and Spryte followed after her. You quickly noted that there was a definite sway in Impa’s hips and you did like how big and curvy her butt was. Not wanting Zelda to get mad, you stared at the back of Impa’s head.
Once you were in the courtyard, you looked around, seeing all the soldiers, guards, and trainees. There was both men and women Hylians training, though there seemed to be more women than men. You thought, ‘Did Ganon’s final attack cause there to be less men born over time?’
“So… are you ready?” Impa asked, getting into a fighting pose that appeared to be for looking sexy, rather than fighting.
“Ready,” I said as I got into a position.
The first few minutes of the session were a bit slow, as we were more feeling each other out. I’m pretty sure she was surprised at how skilled I was. Either that or she was surprised at how I was able to take a decent hit from her and she hit hard!
But she had years of experience on her side and was able to win against me, but not before I left her as bruised as she left me.
After I fell to my knees, she wiped her mouth of the slight dribble of spit before she said, “You fight well, Will. Were you trying to become the princess’s guard, that would have been a decent argument for it.”
As she helped me up, Impa added, “But you’ve been selected as her hero. This fight has shown me you need more training. How well can you fight with a weapon?”
“I’ve never fought with one before. The laws in my land are strict about civilians wandering around with weapons,” you answered.
Impa chuckled, “A blank canvas, my favorite. If you want, I can teach you, but you seem like the type to better learn on your own. Whichever you choose, I shall accept it.”
