A lovely lady who is a bit chubby, but considered to have stout strength. You are a gamer, quite interested in Magic, and someone who dreamt of adventure. You’re more willing to admit the interest in adventure than magic or gaming. You also were quite lonely. You had co-workers and acquaintances, but no real friends.
One of your internet trawlings for a real magic book often got you a lot of books that were worth less than toilet paper.
After one of those deliveries, you did the usual ‘cast the safest spell’... and actually threw a fireball. After dealing with a weird mix of a panic attack and a mood so happy you had trouble breathing, you looked through the book.
You found a spell that with a small number of sacrifices of similar nature, you could turn a mirror into a portal to something that the sacrifices represented. After some thought, you decided you were going to turn your floor mirror that you got from a thrift shop into a doorway to Sequin Land. You loved adventure and the cast in the Shantae series were all quite friendly… Well, they could be jerks, but had good hearts in the end.
You prepared a camping backback, with spare clothes, a tent, some food, a medkit, and a few other things.
You took a deep breath as you placed the pile of cartridges and CDs in front of the mirror. Your throat went dry before you trembled with anticipation. You cast the spell. Once done, orbs of light left the games and entered the mirror, which began to glow so brightly, you had to cover your eyes.
“Well, no time like the present,” You said as you put on the camping backpack and entered the portal door, holding the book as tightly as you could. After you entered and your sight returned, you saw that behind you was a mirror-door similar to the one in your room. You were…   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
