After you stood up, you had a bad feeling run down your spine. "He's... supposed to be the hero of Hyrule, fighting Ganon, the leader of evil in Hyrule."
Zelda looked even more confused, saying, "I don't know that name either. Is is possible that you are misinformed?"
"Possibly. My knowledge comes from video games in my world. Since one of the games had a lot of similarity with this one, I guessed wrong in trying to use it as a source of info," You answered. "So, how can I help you and the Land of Hyrule?"
"For one, We're under attack by Veran, Twinrova, and their forces. We've been lucky that the two don't like each other," Zelda said. "The guards of Hyrule are skilled enough to ward their forces off, but never enough for us to gain an advantage."
She held your hands, looked in your eyes in a pleading way, and asked, "We need a hero. A hero who can inspire us. A hero who can light away the darkness of Veran, A hero who can put out the fires and ice of Twinrova. A hero who can slip in and strike before villainy knows what is happening. A hero who can bring peace to Hyrule. A hero who I can look up to. A hero who... I can care for."
You felt a number of emotions. Pride at a cute girl asking you for something like this, Fear at the idea of fighting two armies and their powerful sorceresses, a bit of lust at how attractive Zelda was, and a number of others that came and went.
Still, there was a nagging part of you that felt something was way off and wrong.
You licked your lips and took a deep breath before asking, "Do you know what happened to the land of Calatia? I think it's west of Hyrule."
Zelda paused for a moment before answering, "It is a land of forests and ruins. A calamity destroyed all of it centuries of ago."
You took a moment to take in the bad news before saying ,"Calatia is the land where Link was born. I take it Ganon killed himself to forever kill off Link. Since no other hero named Link has come forth, I'll be your hero, Zelda."
Zelda hugged you, tears running down her face, crying out, "Thank you, Will! Thank you! You have no idea what it means to me! Mother will be ever so happy that someone will avenge my father!"
You took a moment before hugging her back. 'So many differences from what I know. I just hope that I can save everyone.I wonder if the Queen's name is also Zelda?'

In the armory Zelda gave you a magic boomerang, Crissword ▼ , and a shield.
"I apologize, but that is all Impa allows me to give out. She did claim that the sword is fit for a hero," Zelda answered.
"It's alright," You said."
"So this is the hero you were claiming you'd bring to Hyrule?" A stern voice asked.
You looked behind and saw that it was Impa from Ocarina of Time, albeit with a sexier figure. She looked you up and down before asking, "You don't look like you're ready for combat. In fact, you look softer than one of the peasants, but you do seem to know some kind of unarmed combat."
"Princess Zelda summoned me with the Triforce of Wisdom. I like to think that they know what they were doing when they summoned me," You replied, staring back at her.
"Then face me in a spar. Use the weapons she gave you or fight me hand-to-hand. Or don't and go on the quest to save Hyrule," Impa replied, unfazed by your attempt to look tough.  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
