One day Monica was cleaning the apartment when she accidentally turned on the TV. The channel it was turned to was a kid show she later found out was called Happy Town. She was about to turn it off but at the last moment she decided to leave it on as back ground noise, the cheery nursery music didn't sound half bad.
And from that point onward her fascination with Happy Town grew into something of a guilty pleasure. She watched it whenever it was on and no one was around to see her watch it. She had committed all the characters names, recurring songs, and games to memory. She even considered buying merchandise for the show a handful of times when she came across it in stores or catalogs.
