The red uniforms of Georgia, it’s hard not to notice at times the way they cling to the bodies of the men wearing them. Betraying the sheer sweat they must work up in a practice or game. No one can bring themselves to approach their locker rooms after just from how much it reeks.
You’ve managed to catch the barest whiffs of it and your eyes had watered as they passed. A few other people coughed and choked around you.
The team is known to be hostile to reporters trying to get a scoop, either breaking up anything they had to ask due to being unable to breathe properly or the team rebuffing them. Only a few guys had managed to even write an article or two, and no one having managed an actual recorded interview.
But would that stop you? No.
The question though is who to approach,
There’s Dante, caucasian, cocky, ripped as fuck. He has a social media where he shows off his muscles with promises that “daddy will ruin you, inside and out”.
He’s one of the members who invites interviewers at least to try and withstand his mind rotting body odor, but anyone he has invited doesn’t have much more to say on the subject.
Then there’s Jack, an African American and equally as cocky but with less of an online presence. No less ripped or less ripe after a game and interviewers usually get grabbed and forcibly invited off somewhere. Though he’s someone you could get a few words off as he washes more often it seems like.
Of course you could look to the other members on the off chance you find someone else willing to talk, or if not maybe getting a scoop from a less friendly member?
