In your mind, you think of the most amazingly bland bar of chocolate you can think of. No nuts, no fillings, not even any company logos. Too much might tax the system, you guess. And perhaps due to this simplicity it only takes a few seconds before Strauss's computer starts to buzz and whir.
"Ah, good," she says, "Now hold still, if I don't focus the beam right, it might overheat and melt your new figure!"
A beam of purple light blasts from a pinhole on her monitor, striking you as you contemplate the meaning of her warning. Heat radiates through your body as your clothes evaporate, dusting away into nothing. You try to cover your exposed bits, but your muscles refuse to move as you begin to shrink down, down, down. The doctor before you swells to a titan's height. Your body also changes, melting away its human figure into a blocky shape.
The rest you cannot seem thanks to your eyes disappearing, but jugdging from the brown tint of your skin, you've become a chocolate bar! Just like in your mind. Despite no longer being human, your mind seems alright, and it only takes a few moments for your sense to return to normal, though your vision has become 360, allowing you to see from all directions.
"Another success," Strauss proclaims to no one in particular. "Your mind seems intact, which is good, but let's test if a change of state will preserve that."
Change of state? What does she mean by that? You assumed it was using the machine again, but she walks away from it and scoops you from the ground.
"You aren't name brand, but I am sure someone will enjoy you," she says, examining you closely.
Enjoy? This witch is going to have you eaten! Digested by who-knows-who!
Who does the doctor choose to test your new body?
