It was shortly after the Elrics had met Ling and were staying in their hotel room as Edward had just gotten his automail repaired after the skirmish with Lan Fan and Fu.
An alchemical reaction sparked in the ceiling and out of thin air a young teenage boy with golden hair fell down and landed on Alphonse's armored body. "Waaagh!" Al yelped along with the mysterious boy.
"What the hell?!" Ed yelled as he shot to his feet and prepared for a fight.
The young boy hissed in pain and lay on the floor as Alphonse picked his head back up. "Ed...what's going on?!" Winry burst into the room to find Edward having got a stranger by the collar. "This guy just dropped from the ceiling! That was alchemy just now!" Ed sneered at the strange invader.
"But what kind of alchemy can make people appear out of thin air?" Alphonse asked slightly confused.
"Wait....dad!" The boy exclaimed and suddenly hugged Ed.
