When the light cleared everyone seem to be normal except for Edelgard and Byleth, where there used to two people now there stood one, the person seem to be Edelgard except that some parts of her seemed wrong, part of her appeared to have grown, her right hand was now covered by a black glove, her left leg also changed, a metallic knee pad now covering it, those small changes were odd enough but small in comparison to what really called everyone's attention, she had two heads.
The monstrous sight made some gasp or scream in fear, the two heads seemed to be as confused as everyone else, they had also changed, Edelgard's white hair now had some strands of green, and Byleth head's was it's opposite, a sea of green with small white lines, the heads seemed to slowly notice what had happened, turning around to see eachother, and when they did the let out a scream that everyone at the monastery could hear.
"Professor?!" Edelgard shrieked at the sight of her new deformed body, noticing she couldn't move it, barely being able to move some fingers.
"Yes" Byleth answer, more calm now after the initial shock, he quickly looked away to her hand, flexing it on command. "Apparently I can control this body" he stated.
"What happened?!" shouted Caspar, pointing at what now were his friends.
"Fusiontaga, the most chaotic of the forbidden trio" Hubert answered, such a calm formal answer didn't help to calm anyone. "It can fuse two beings, but the caster cannot control the way they would fuse, as abominable as they look now, it could have been much worse"
"Worse?! How could it be worse?!" Caspar shouted again, not believing there was something worse than this.
"It's for the better than we don't know" Hubert walked up to his fused liege "Lady Edelgard, can you move any part of this body?"
"I think so, I think I can move some fingers on the right hand the left knee... and I think I can move something else" she answered, noticing they weren't really useful parts, trying to move anything else, immediately noticing she could indeed move something more private, her face turned pink as she blushed, try to look away from everyone.
"What else can you move?" he asked, not noticing her blush.
"Nothing! Nothing else!" she yelled, hoping no one noticed how embarrassed she was.
"Well I think this is proof enough that we should use the spells, it has rendered you practically useless" Byleth stated, emotionless.
"No, this is proof of the opposite! How could this be useful for anything, this spell should be destroyed" she commanded.
"Really? You're starting to sound like Rhea" he said, knowing where it would hurt.
Edelgard boiled at being compared with that wicked women but apparently the Archbishop and her agreed on something. "No, she just banned it, I plan to destroy it once we're no longer fused!"
"Well, you can't really stop me right now" Byleth hold the book on his hand, Edelgard thought she was stuck in this situation, at the mercy of the professor until she realised it was his right hand, she quickly moved her finger, managing to throw it out of his hands, the book flew towards the watching members of the strike force, another glow briefly blinding them that soon faded.
