Beth twirled again, putting her hand on her hip stylishly. She didn't think that she was prettier than any of her friends or rub it in anyone's faces, but she could appreciate her own appearance. She giggled to herself, thinking how silly she was being at a time like this. She hadn't been too certain about getting caught up in the hunt for Stacey, but she was determined to help find her no less than the others. Feeling that she had taken enough time to be silly, she was ready to move on.
However, her reflection in the mirror was curious, even somewhat frightening. Instead of her svelte frame, Beth could see something else in the reflection. If it hadn't been for the blonde hair and blue eyes, she'd have not recognised herself. Her reflection displayed a monstrously fat woman, easily several times her own weight. Her body was bloated and hefty, her monstrous breasts and belly being held back by the giant dress that she had been holding. There were no signs of a neck, only multiple chins that melted into her spherical torso. She could see trunk-ish thighs and legs propping up this monstrosity. What made things more terrifying is that her gargantuan counterpart mirrored her every move.
Beth took a step back quickly, her playful glee replaced by a sudden jolt of anxiety. Her reflection made her feel very uneasy. "Damn, if that's not a reason to keep at the gym and avoid the burgers..."
