Beth glanced at her phone absent-mindedly as she headed off to her right. Disappointingly, she still had no signal, but she felt the need to keep checking every few seconds. She hated being without her phone. She had just uploaded a picture of herself to Instagram, surrounded by the fog outside, and was dying to see how many likes it had gotten. In the past year, she had amassed nearly five thousand followers due to her glamour shots and modelling work.
For good measure, she snapped another picture of herself pulling a goofy expression as she passed one of the hall's glowing lanterns. Heading onwards, she found herself in a dusty, run down kitchen. "Gross, this place needs a good clean," Beth said, wiping her finger along a filthy table top before blowing the dust off the tip. "Stacey, you here? Nope? Okay, room cleared."
She was about to turn around when she noticed that, strangely, there was an electronic humming coming from somewhere in the room. She moved a little closer to the space where the noise was emanating from, and saw that it was actually an enormous fridge. What a modern day fridge was doing in a place like this, Beth had no idea. It looked so out of place in the rest of the room. Beth moved towards the fridge and pulled it open, revealing, to her surprise, a vast array of food that looked perfectly fresh...
"What the hell, who's keeping this thing stocked?" Beth wondered as she peered inside at the vast array of meats, cakes, treats and drinks. "This thing is freaking huge."
