This choice: Vera and Harmony hang out during dinner with Darcy, talking together.  •  Go Back...
Chapter #9

Girl's Night Out!

    by: Unknown
"Oh, h-hey there, Vera!" Harmony stood up from her bed as she heard Vera enter into their dorm; she could hear her coming down the hallway outside, as well, her heavy footfalls making audible thuds through the walls. "Did you, uh...have a good time with your wrestling practice?"

"More or less. It did work up an appetite, though." Vera walked briskly from the door to the little mini-fridge that their room had, setting the empty Thermo and container on top to wash later before opening it up to get the rest of the food inside. Harmony blushed heavily from the action; her bed was situated just opposite of the fridge, and as Vera bent down to retrieve more food to eat, her impressive backside was shoved mere inches from her torso. Harmony bit her lip as she tried to look away, failing hard; Vera's workout had left a thin film of sweat on her skin, leaving her half-exposed ass glistening softly in the room's light. "Hey, do you think you wanna come to dinner with me and my friends?" Before Harmony was tempted to reach out and grope the fatty flesh in front of her, Vera stood back up, carrying the rest of the food she had got from the cafeteria earlier in her arms.

"Oh! Um, you mean like the cafeteria, right?" Hammond tried not to stare as Vera made her way to her bed before sitting down, the wood and springs underneath her fat behind groaning ominously.

"Nah, I was thinking of heading out into Wellington, the town. There's this sushi place that's kind of out of the way, but the wrestling team loves it, and I think you might, too." The food that Vera had in her arms was a pre-dinner snack, not dinner, chowing down voraciously on the cold carrots and fried chicken. Normally, when people asked Harmony to go out for sushi, she would have told them 'conveyor belt only' and been done with it, but she had a sudden thought. She didn't have the same appetite as Vera had, but she was infatuated with watching her eat, and it was making her hungry as well. Perhaps, just this once, she could afford to splurge a little and take up that offer.

"Sure, we can do sushi if you'd like. As long as it does not take too long." Vera tried to act cool about the offer and not sound so very eager for the idea so her roommate doesn't suspect anything. "Classes start tomorrow, you know. I want to make sure I get a good night's sleep."

"Right, right. I understand. I'm going to pull up the directions to a great place that I know." Vera chuckled out loud, pulling out her cell phone from her pocket as she ate. It was kind of amazing how she could focus on eating with one hand and use her phone with another simultaneously. "I didn't see you eat anything for lunch, earlier, so I bet you're starving."

Harmony smiled and rolled her eyes. "Well, thank you for caring about me, new roomie. Do you think we could head out now, though? My appetite isn't going to last forever and I might just settle to eat a protein bar instead."

Vera dropped the last bit of fried chicken roll from her plastic fork and let out a soft gasp, looking quite surprised by what Harmony said. "Wait...what? Just a protein bar? Harmony, forgive me for making comments on your personal choices and lifestyle, but a protein bar as a replacement for a proper dinner is not suitable at ALL for any person! You could end up getting yourself sick!" Hammond was taken aback by how passionate her roommate was about her having dinner. Thinking about it, however, it made sense that someone who deliberately tried to get fat on purpose would care about food, but she made a good point.

Harmony was silent for a moment before replying. "...alright, Vera. I guess I can afford to treat myself, at least for one night."

"Good." Vera nodded before setting the empty containers on the side of her bed. She stood up and walked towards the door, motioning for her roommate to follow her. "Trust me, Harmony, it really will be worth going out for some good and filling food tonight. I know how to treat my friends well."

"...friends?"

Sometime later, Vera and Harmony had made their way off the campus grounds of the academy and were walking down the streets of Wellington. Hammond thought it would be a good idea for her to eat food that was freshly prepared and was filling for once, as it would be beneficial for her health, but the real reason why she came was that Vera would be there with her. She was the sort of woman who could subsist an entire day off of a protein bar, two pieces of toast, and a single scrambled egg without even flinching. Sometimes even the egg wasn't needed either. How much sushi would her stomach be able to withstand?

"Come on, Harmony. Don't keep standing out in the cold, or you might get sick!" Vera beckoned her to follow him inside the building. Harmony flinched as she realized the two had made it to the place in question, but she was so caught up in her train of thought that she just kept walking. The questions that had plagued the girl's mind at that moment were quickly forgotten about; as fast as they had initially appeared, they were already gone. When they stepped inside, Harmony was surprised to see that it was already so busy despite the time of night. There were people of all ages, even teenagers.

"You okay, Harmony? You seem a tad shaken. Did you realize you were allergic to sushi or something because if you are, we can go somewhere else-"

Harmony shook her head. "No, it's fine. I'm fine. I would not mind eating here. It seems like this place is rather popular, but also not a well-known chain either."

"Indeed. It's a place that becomes beloved through word-of-mouth rather than an abundance of newspaper ads or expensive commercials. They don't waste money trying to coax people into their establishment by brand recognition or flashy pictures, they let their cooking do all of the talking. They use their money to buy more expensive, fresher ingredients and hire cooks who are capable of making the food. I came across this place when I was eating with some officers, so they told me about it. I thought you would like it, Harmony."

"Well, we'll have to see what kind of authentic sushi they prepare here." She remarked. She reached into her back-pocket to retrieve her wallet.

However, Vera held up her hand to stop her. "No, it's alright, Harmony. I'd be happy to treat you this time. I told you in the car that I treat my friends with well, yeah?"

"B-but...!" Harmony stuttered, a little blown away by how generous her new roommate was being.

"Yoohoo! Vera! Over here!" A voice rang out from the crowd, one that Vera recognized, and she instantly made her way over to it, leaving harmony behind for her to follow. The two made their way to one of the low tables where another duo was already seated. Darcy was seated at one end, while on the other end...
