At school.

"Huff, huff huff huff huff. Al- most- there!" Lan was skating with all his speed to try to get to school on time. The gates were about to close but he managed to get past them. He was almost at the school doors when he tripped! "Ugh..." Looking at what caused him to trip, he saw a stone and picked it up. It looked a little more special than a rock so he just decided to pocket it. Finally making it to class, he sat next to his best friend, Mayl.

Mayl smiled at him, "Looks like you made it on time today."

Lan sighed, "Yep. Now time to catch up on some sleep."

Mayl frowned at him but looked at the front of the class knowing she couldn't do anything about Lan. Lan lied on his table and picked up the rock to look at it a little more.
