Brain decided he would make contact with all the planets from the outside in. Some of the were on the other side of the solar system but his ship was so fast that didn't matter.
Firstly he came to Neptune. "Hello Neptune, greeting from beings from across the galaxy, especially from the beings floating within you" said brain.
"So there are people in all those sparkly bits I have floating in me, say thanks to them for making me look more interesting," complimented Neptune.
"The people that live there will be introduced to you soon, there's looks of people that want to talk to you," offered Brain.
"I've been talking to Pluto, he taught me how he made himself bigger, he's going to tell the other planets too," informed Neptune.
"Are you going to grow yourself too," ask Brain nervously.
"If I get bigger it will spread out all by sparkly bits meaning I'm less sparkly on average and I can't be having that. At least until more people move in and build more sparkly bits to live in," reassures Neptune.
Brain then moved to Uranus. They talked for a bit and Uranus decided being called Uranus was getting awkward as people would getting sniggering every time they brought up his name. He decided to be called George instead. He was interested in how they built all the mega-structures around solar system and beyond. Pluto suggested he could grow bigger and become a mega structure.
Saturn was next. "All you little lifeforms and your little ships are so cute," squeed Saturn. Saturn the walked with Uranus to make a few octobots to go around the solar system hugging everybody. Saturn then secretly took a few moons so that it would have even more tiny lifeforms to play with.
When Jupiter was awakened it just naturally ended up charge. As Jupiter was the biggest planet even was also the smartest of them. He managed to stop Saturn and Neptune having was growth fight over a very shiny and highly populated moon. It was agreed that the beings living on the planet would decide and would get to choose again at the start of every Jovian year. Jupiter also took over contacting the rest of the planets.
How that all the planets had unlimited growth powers it was only a matter of time until they find a reason to use them. This is...
