Ashly - A fat 8-year-old who eats more than she thinks. She has some freckles on her face, dark brown hair, dark brown eyes, white skin, and a big belly which gives her an occasional teasing in school. She never really liked being called fat, but prefers the word chubby, because fat sounds like an insult to her, and chubby sounds like a compliment. The fact she likes being "chubby" is a huge secret, because she always thought people would think she was a freak. The only person she trusted the secret with was Andy.
Andy - An 8-year-old who met Ashly by standing up for her when she was teased one day. He too has freckles, more than Ashly, has red hair, blue eyes, and white skin. When Ashly told him her big secret, he encouraged it, because he has a big secret which he only shared with himself too: he "Likes girls who have a big belly on them". Like how Ashly trusted Andy with her secret, he trusted Ashly with his secret. He always tried to keep Ashly optimistic about being chubby. He had recently wondered what it was like to have some extra weight.

Fiona - A 7-year-old girl who had been grown up told fat was a good thing. Her parents would convince her in everyway they can that fat is pretty on girls and handsom on boys. With the life of eating fatty foods, she is an obese child with a belly that can fit through her door. Her arms, legs, and neck are very thick, and she has a cute fat face. Her hair color is black and her eyes are brown. Her love for eating and fat is extream, and even frightens others. She would thank anyone for calling her fat in anyway shape or form. She would occasionally nickname herself "Fatona".
