It was a beautiful summer's morning. The sun was slowly beginning to rise and began to creep its way into the large cave. The large cave being the home of two dragons: Sandy and Sharel.
Sharel, the mother, was resting on her side against one of the far walls of the cave. Her green scales looked starkly contrast to the grey stone of the cave. It was not hard to miss this dragon. Of course there were two other reasons for this. First, Sharel had a nice well fed belly. One would mistaken the woman for being pregnant, had the big tummy not been so bouncy and jingly from its fat. The second reason was that a young dragon cub was resting against said large tummy, using it like a big pillow.
Little 6 year old Sandy looked like a younger, cuter, version of her mother. She shared her mom's brilliant green scales as well as her red hair, even though the 6 year old's was long and flowing as opposed to her mother's shorter hair style. This, however, wasn't the only thing she shared with her mom. Like Sharel, her offspring was also quite plump and also carried a nice round tummy and a layer of fat on her frame that everyone who saw her knew was more than just "baby fat".
Fortunately for both dragon mother and daughter, neither minded their weight. In fact both loved being tubby and both REALLY loved eating. These dragons had nearly bottomless appetites and was the cause of many problems in the nearby forests and towns. Neither dragon gave that much concern. After all, they were dragons and dragons ate meat. However, this became a great nuisance...
