This is still going to continue with the whole solar flare idea but just go in a more random swapping way than just souls being knocked out of bodies.
It was a pretty average day at Wilko and Aaron was bored out of his skull. It was no wonder seeing how he had spent the majority of his shift just moving around boxes filled to the brim with nuts and bolts. “Fun!” he said to himself with mock excitement as he picked up yet another box of components, lugging them next to the back door where they were to be chucked out. Aaron was exhausted; he’d had to pick up the slack from his coworker Laura.
In all honesty, Aaron normally liked their partnership (mostly due to their mutual dislike of speaking on the job) but today he just found her physical weakness aggravating. “I’ll take that for you,” Aaron said to her, more out of annoyance than of genuine kindness. Aaron waddled to the door and dropped the box vehemently onto the ground. As he wiped a bead of sweat from his forehead, Aaron looked upwards towards the sky. The scene above him was a beautiful, sea-blue colour filled with pristine, white clouds. The only thing that really stood out was a streak of orange racing across the sky, seeming to get larger and larger every second that he stared at it.
Aaron shrugged- whatever it was, he knew that he wasn’t getting paid to admire it. He turned around and skulked back inside, craving a smoke desperately as he scratched an itch on his backside.
