Legends tell of a mysterious phenomenon occurring during the times of 14th Century England. Archaeologists have uncovered records of a small red diamond circulating through the English. Initially highly valued for its rarity, as diamonds were seldom red, the aristocracy would go far in search for the rare jewel, often offering huge sums of money for it. However, misfortune would always befall its owners, as rumors would spread about them either becoming comatose or becoming a different person altogether, like a sudden change of mind. The treasure was eventually seen as a curse, and with the advent of the Black Death, its whereabouts became unknown. While current archaeologists were able to find these records, they could not locate the accursed jewel. Assuming that the diamond was either lost beneath the ground or simply fabricated through rumors, they set aside the records. Unbeknownst to them, the jewel was already unearthed couple of years ago, and through a series of (harmless) transactions, the crimson-colored diamond made its way to an employee at Wilkos.
