He remembered his old travelling companion back in unova iris he then sends out a flying Pokémon and flys to unova and meets iris she says with joy “Ash!”
“So nice to see you”
Ash then says “yeah I need you to look at this”
Iris says “is that a hypnos pendant”
Ash says “yeah. I bet I can hypnotise you.”
Iris then says “ash your shush a little ki-“
Before she can finish her eyes lose the fire and her body goes slack ash ash smiles a devilish grin
