For some reason Ash didn't think of any of his friends to hypnotize. Only one person came immediately to mind: Officer Jenny. The many, many Officer Jennys that Ash had met during his journeys had been knock outs. Having a sexy police officer as his personal slave sounded quite appealing to Ash.
The closest Officer Jenny would be in Viridian City since Pallet Town was too small to have a police station. Viridian City wasn't too far off either. If Ash walked there it would take all day to get to the city and it was late afternoon already.
Thinking quickly Ash called forth a Pokemon that knew how to fly him anywhere.
Less than two hours later, Ash was in Viridian City in search of Officer Jenny. Unfortunately the search went on and on for what seemed like hours since Viridian City was a big city after all. Ash had underestimated just how hard it was to find a single police officer in a city this size. Every police officer he did find ended up to not be Jenny. Ash considered to go to another city to look for another Jenny. It wasn't as if he was limited to just one Jenny....
Wait a minute......why have just one Jenny when Ash could have a whole army of Officer Jennys under his thumb? The idea made him giddy. So much so that Ash didn't notice a motorcycle rushing pass him until it was nearly out of sight. Sure enough Ash caught a glimpse of Jenny on the bike before it vanished in the distance. Ash ran in the same direction that the motorcycle did.
Shortly after that, Ash found Officer Jenny. She had parked her motorcycle right outside a restaurant meaning that she was probably off duty.
Ash waited outside the restaurant since he wasn't that hungry at the moment. Ash had a late lunch thanks to a brief run-in with Team Rocket.
When Jenny walked out of the restaurant some thirty minutes later, Ash was ready with his newly found pendant.
"Officer Jenny?" asked Ash blocking her way to her motorcycle.
"What, kid?" asked Jenny.
Ash bristled at being called a kid. He was no longer a kid but a teenager !
"I found this" said Ash, holding up the pendant. "Someone must've dropped it"
Jenny looked at the pendant. "That looks like.....like....like...........a......."
Jenny's eyes went unfocused. Ash smiled and ordered Jenny to drive him to a location .
