You scream for what feels like minutes as you free fall before landing with a thud on the dusty hardwood floor below. Standing up you dust yourself off and exhale in discovery, the fall should have killed you, but your tiny dense body survived miraculously.
The wind is knocked out of your lungs, every breath to try and reclaim it is stifled by the dense, dusty air. It billows around you like smoke, your lungs burning as you gasp for air. Expecting your head to pass out, you are surprised again, it seems you don’t need to breath as much like this.
As you can yourself down you take in the sight of the enormous bed and Timber all’s of the huge room. The furniture is sparse but has two trunks for possessions, a small lamp and a tall free standing body-length mirror in the corner.
You tentatively take steps along the dusty floor. Almost a years worth of vacancy has left the room covered in a fine layer of dust that I’d like a soft flurry of snow to you now.
The soft landscape suddenly quakes. The landscape vibrating with an immense thud. As the dust gently settles once more the thud returns. The repetitive thuds getting heavier and heavier. They’re footsteps!
An even more powerful sound arcs across the silence of the room as the door is flung open. Your jaw drops as you see the immense figure of a man fill the doorway.
The man’s immense foot slams onto the dirty floor as he strides into the room. An instinctual reaction causes you to ball up in fear as you cower in the presence of:
