Retsuko goes missing and Haida must find her

And Retsuko was gone. One moment she was being bossed around like always, the next moment she was throwing her stack of papers into the air, announcing that she was quitting in the most epic way thought possible, storming out of the building like some slave that was set free after years of captivity.

No one knew what to say or think after this.

Despite being overlooked and treated like a robot by everyone, there was a cold void after Retsuko left that could not be filled.

They tried to find her, to talk some sense into her (though, they highly doubt that she would be hired back by her literal pig of a boss, who was facing his own existential crisis after someone stood up to him like that for the first time in all of his life), but Retsuko was impossible to find; her phone was dead and she was not home in her cramp apartment.

Naturally, they turned to her best friend, Fenneko, but she was just as clueless as they were. They last thing Retsuko said to her was that she had to get out of Tokyo for a while, to "find her place in the world", though, no one knew exactly what that meant. Fenneko had a feeling that neither did Retsuko.

This worried everyone even more, but there was nothing they could do. But Retsuko's sudden and unexpected departure had the greatest impact in Haida. The hyena was driven to depression. He quitted his job as well, feeling that their was no reason for him to stay there after his crush had left.

And now he was sitting out in the rain, his fur and clothes soaked to the bone, shivering in the cold, but he did not care. The only thoughts he had was of Retsuko. Where had she gone? What was she doing now? How was she sustaining herself?

The worry was driving him crazy. He stood up, a new will blazing in his eyes. He had to find her
