Your absent-minded toe rubbing is suddenly interrupted when you're suddenly smacked by the very tow you were rubbing and sent flying! You're sent flying into the air from the force and lose all control over where you're going and where you're going to land! You try your best to get your bearings during this, but all you could make out is the rapidly rising wall that was formerly your mom's toe. Then, as quickly as it raised, it shot back down towards the surface of the sandal. Impacting the ground with a muffled *THUD!* and small shaking.
You stay in the air for a few more seconds before crashing back onto the surface of the sandal, tumbling down to about the centre of the footwear, thankfully for you just in front of the toes. You move to stand up but are immediately sent sprawling to the ground again as a similar *THUD!* noise and quake ring out, knocking you off balance. Before you can recover from this, another one occurs. You aren't sure what's happening but you're powerless to resist it!
Choosing to stay on the ground, you look up to try and get an idea of what is happening. You are greeted with the terrifying sight of each monstrous toe rising miles above you into the air before crashing down into the ground and repeating. The speed at which this is all happening is mind-boggling to you, it's enough to make you freeze in fear of these organic mountains that in reality are just the toes of mom's usually petite feet. You look further up past the toes, to try and make out what she's doing, but you're still much too far away to make out any of her details. What you didn't know is that none of this was intentional, it was just the unconscious wiggling of her toes causing this cataclysmic event in your world.
Not daring to move, you're content to wait at this distance and hope that the toes stop these movements sometime soon, before mom begins walking again. Your hopes are dashed, however after the toe closest to you, her middle toe, hits the ground with slightly more force than the previous times. A change that was unnoticeable to a normal person, but a world ending disaster to you. This time, the toe causes a thundering *BOOM!* as it meets the ground, and the force is enough to send you flying into the air again, despite your attempts to resist it! While normally this would have launched you back into the carpet forest, mom's foot makes the smallest shift forward, and you scream as her foot launches forward towards you at lightning speeds!
