Johnathan turned at the sound of the classroom door opening. Quickly turning back to Max, he only caught a glance as the football player scrambled under Anthony's desk.

Anthony knelt down. "What the hell are you doing!" he hissed.

Max somehow fit surprisingly well in the open space beneath Anthony's desk, his back against the wooden panel that made up the front of the piece. He put a finger to his lips and motioned for Anthony to sit.

"Get-"

"Teach?"

Anthony looked up at a confused student handing him a handful of papers.

"Oh, um, thank you," Anthony stood back up and took the stack. Looking back down at Max, Anthony took a deep breath and decided...
