"Hi there darling. My name is Cerena, I'll be your sitter for the night," her voice was very posh, almost European. Her skin had a light tan, she must spend quite a bit of time in the sun. Her hair was long locks of gold that seemed to glow in the moonlight as if made of glitter. Cerena pulled strands of her hair from her face, revealing sparking eyes and freckles.
She was quite pretty yet also a bit old. At the back of your mind you imagine she must at least be 20. At the front of your mind you were shocked at what was below her torso.
The strong body of a chestnut mare, with a white right leg. You realize that she is a Centaur.
"Oh I think there two of your right? A little brother, yes. Oh, I just adore little kids." she trotted past you giving a little pat.
Briefly, you consider slamming the door or telling her to get lost. Letting in a babysitter was one thing, letting in a Centaur was quit another. Seeing a mythical monster-woman was absolutely a different ballpark.
You stand there for a good few minutes more then a little stuck on what to do.
"Hey, put me down you Nightmare," Cried Dave. You close the door and race to the living room seeing, Cerena holding Dave in the crook of her arm. "After what you said consider yourself lucky you're not getting spanked or being sent to your room. Knave!"
"Knave?" Dave grumbled, " What are you medieval old or something."
You were certain she would smack Dave, for her face scrunched up and she let out a strained neigh.
Instead, she bucked her, sending the TV flying. "No Video games or TV for either of you now."
You glare daggers at your brother, "Nice going, knave."
Later you are playing with your food, not really hungry nor was there anything to do after. Dave seems more upset yet doesn't speak, he hasn't since Cerena gave him another dressing down.
Speaking of Cerena, she was putting perfect mouthful after perfect mouthful of granola oats into her mouth. "So where do you want to go?"
'Huh," Go were, all the babysitters before had kept you and Dave inside.
Seemingly sensing your question Cerena went on, " I hate being cooped up indoors for so long. Guess it's the wild horse in me," she gives off a whinny-like laugh. " And since the modern generation can't entertain themselves without TV. Might work out for both of us. So were do we go?"
