Your sudden outburst surprises Maritza and Darick. Quickly, you use the moment to escape to your room with your face red with embarrassment and confusion.
Hearing the door shut, Martiza processes the reaction and then apologizes to her buyer.
"I'm sorry Derick. Based on what you told me, I thought being assertive is the most appropriate action to get our son to accept me."
Derick rubs his neck and sighs, wondering if he made a bad decision, but looking at Martiza who seemed saddened as well, he knows that this is a change that had to be introduced. For too long, he knows he hasn't been a good parent and maybe having a sort of mother figure would help him.
"It's okay. He'll need time. To him, I guess you're still a stranger."
Maritza hums, agreeing with that statement. "Am I still a stranger to you, Derick?"
Derick blinks, surprised by the question. "Uh...well, I bought you, but I suppose so."
Martiza cocks her head, scanning Derick's facial features. She smiles. "It seems I need time to work out a plan for you and your son, then."
Dericks widens his eyes and then grows conflicted himself. Perhaps...this is what you were feeling. Honestly, he bought Martiza as a gift for you; however, what does he think about warming up to the voluptuous android?
