She didn't have to wait long as she heard the front door open and feet thudding up the stairs. Her door softly opened and her four best friends walked in. First was Hina, a girl of Japanese origin a year younger than Holly. She wore her hair in twin braid as always, her glasses glinting in the little light present. Her green shirt and shorts both had Japanese symbols on it which she always had her friends guess the meaning of. Her eyes lit up as they saw Holly. "Kaiju?" She asked.
Behind Hina was Jessica, the oldest of the group at nine. Despite her being the (formally) tallest she was very shy, half hiding behind her thick black hair as always. She wore a long sleeved grey shirt and Levi jeans, hands in her pockets. Her eyes widened as she saw Holly's enlarged form on the bed, a soft gasp escaping her mouth.
Pushing Hina through when she froze at the door was the girl Holly was most looking forward to playing with. Kelsey had been Holly's friend since they had both been two, the brunette having just as much energy as her. She was wearing a white and pink t-shirt that exposed her navel and short white shorts. "Your clothes," she gasped.
"Whose clothes?" The last girl asked as she entered. Riley was a darker skinned girl whose parents had moved to the states from India. She wore her black hair in an elaborate braid which reached nearly to her waist, a purple dress leaving the lower halves of her legs bare. "Oh," she said, leaning on the wall for support.
"Surprise!" Holly leapt up from the bed, the quick motion the last straw for her dress. The remaining scraps fell to the floor, leaving the almost eight year old in the nude. "I found the best game, growing gun!" She held out the device which left her a half head taller than Jessica.
"Why are you naked?" Jessica asked, hiding a blush behind her hair.
"I grew out of my clothes, duh," Holly skipped up to her friend, carefully moving her wall of hair. "That's why I asked everyone to come today. We're having a growth party!"
"Seriously, this little thing can make us giants?" Kelsey asked.
"Uh, yeah. How do you think I got this big today?" Holly smirked, tapping her bestie on the head.
"Prove it then," Kelsey challenged.
"Ok," Holly laughed. "Let's see, who should I grow?"
