The life of a superhero was scarcely an easy one. While it was easy to glamorize from an outsider's point of view, the reality was that it was a thankless job with small rewards that the induvial has to create for themselves. Supergirl and the Flash were no different.
Both of them had faced adversity time and time again both on the battlefield and off it. Whether it was fighting in the never-ending battle of good versus evil, or just fighting to have a personal life, they knew all about struggle despite their gifts.
That shared struggle was just another one of many things that drew them closer together. They knew they shouldn't be together as they each already had someone in their lives to whom they loved and adored, but the attraction between them was just too strong.
Kara Zor-El of the planet Krypton and Bartholomew Henry Allen, Supergirl and the Flash, decided with no small amount of guilt that it was best to keep their relationship a secret from those around them. There would be a lot less hurt on both sides that way.
With their powers and shared universe, it was easy to meet up in secret whenever they felt like it and every so often, they would hang out outside of costume. No one was the wiser and despite the guilt they never once ceased their relationship.
The sex was amazing as well. Barry was the fastest man alive and could do things a super speed he never could with someone else. Kara was practically a goddess and could give back just as much as she took if not more so. Though with her super strength she still had to hold back a little.
Their current encounter was just as good as the others, and they were in the process of going all the way before a call came in about a disturbance in city. The two heroes were still locked together as one when they got the message and had no intension of leaving unfulfilled, so they decided to finish things up at super speeds.
The friction was intense and so was the feeling of pleasure for both parties. It took less than three seconds before they both reached their climaxes and groaned all while they did. Unfortunately, they couldn't bask in the afterglow as there was a job to do.
They got suited up in record time and reached the city almost in the blink of an eye. The National Bank was the target and the pair rushed inside only to find the bank completely devoid of life. It was completely empty save for the barring of the alarm.
Being ever cautious, the two made their way deeper into the bank towards the vault which the found was missing a door. Inside was a man dressed from head-to-toe in all black with multiple duffle bags filled with to the brim with hard earned money.
"I don't know if you've heard, but banking hours are from nine to five." Barry quipped which startled the villain and caused Kara to giggle. The man in question whirled around so quickly it was miracle that he didn't have whiplash.
"Flash..." He spoke with dread in his voice. He knew all about the scarlet speedster and his accomplishments via the news and then his jaw practically dropped when he saw the woman floating next to him. There wasn't a single rogue that didn't know her or the big "S" on her chest. "Supergirl."
"The one and only." She teased; she couldn't help but notice how the rogue's heartbeat had quickened. She tried to peer under his mask with some x-ray vision but it was lined with lead so she couldn't see his face. "But like my friend here said, banking hours are from nine to five so we're going to have to cancel your withdrawal."
The man was really nervous now. He tried to school in his emotions and calm down. He could still make it out of this if he played his cards right. He might not get all the money but just escaping from Supergirl and the Flash alone would boost his street cred.
He tightened his fists and spoke as intimidatingly as he could in the face of such insurmountable odds. "The names RAY and as for banking hours, I've just extended them."
Alright, he said his name now all he had to do was use the powers stored in his suit and then. Huh? He looked down to see that his hands were cuffed. He looked up to find the Flash now gripping shoulder. Was he really that cocky. These cuffs wouldn't hold him. He wasn't a metta.
"And that takes care of-" The flash couldn't even finish his sentence before he felt the full power of RAY's suit and realized his mistake. Kara was also stunned as the criminal and Barry seemed to vanish right before he very eyes, before her superior sight caught them both on the ground... tiny.
"What the..." She was stunned so much so that she paid the bank robber little mind as he shrank himself further from her sighs and she instead flew towards her secret lover who was now a mere three inches tall. The same height as those little army men Alex used to own.
Barry meanwhile was freaking out as he had no clue what just happened. Everything was so big now and... a dark shadow soon fell over him. He quickly zippered around to find a large red pillar that wasn't in the bank vault before. His eyes trialed up and up and up until he realized that he wasn't looking at a red pillar. He was looking at, "Kare...?"
"Barry?" She spoke with wide eyes. This was all too much stimulation for the speed themed superhero, and he did the only thing anyone could realistically do in his situation. He let his own eyes roll into the back of his head before promptly hitting the floor.
