Nyssa had put herself in exile following Malcolm's hostile take over of the League, mostly because she knew that while she could kill the bastard, she would never get close enough to do so. She did come out to burn the organisation to the ground though with a little help from Oliver Queen, but that was essentially 'for fun' more than anything else.
The fact nobody other than her (not even her beloved, though Nyssa wished she did) knew of the location of her little hide away meant she was instantly suspicious of a strange book she never remembered seeing before or bringing into the house. Picking up the item she felt a prescience in her mind followed by a booming voice
'I've travelled far to this place and time to lay this precious burden at your feet. Use this book to reshape the world as you see fit. Show them what a real god can do'
While unsure as to how accurate the voice's statement was, the idea of being as powerful as they claimed did appeal to the former assassin, sure she had basically been the 2nd strongest person in the League but that was the thing 2nd, there was always someone controlling her, limiting her movements and telling her what she could and couldn't do. Not any more.
Caressing the leather binding Nyssa decides this version of reality wasn't something she was happy to exist in, so any changes would be better than what she had, opening it and grinning as she felt the Book's limitless power engulf her.
What changes?
1) After Sara's death Nyssa kills her father and ascends to the positon of Ra's, then steals Sara's body, reviving as well as shrinking her so her beloved never leaves her again
2) The book picks up on a submissive streak that never existed before falling for Sara, and seeing she would be happier this way has her shrink and become Sara and Ava's pet and tiny lover, spending her nights on, between or inside one of the women she loves.
