Yukino finally got out of her surprise and sat down on the bed to help her friend. She inserted her finger between her breasts and slowly lifted Lucy onto it, being very careful not to accidentally hurt the tiny Celestial Mage. She brought Lucy closer to her face to get a better look, but her entire body was barely visible on her fingertip.
Lucy was slightly nervous when she felt a body beneath her. Even though she trusted Yukino, the size difference alone was unthinkable. Even if Yukino was careful, Lucy still couldn't stand on the wiggling finger. When Yukino's eyes looked at her, she really felt like an ant. Even Brandish or Stash Mace weren't that huge compared to her.
"So... um..." - Yukino, I started, unsure how to approach this - "Lucy-sama, how did you get so small."
"I don't know." - Lucy replied - “I just came out of the Celestial Realm like always and suddenly I'm so small and... here. And, how can you hear me anyway? And how tall am I? Will I stay like this forever? How can I complete missions and earn rent?”
"Calm down Lucy-sama." - Yukino said, trying to calm her friend - "I'm sure it's not permanent. You just need to calm down and I'm sure we'll figure something out."
Lucy took a few deep breaths and began to calm down. She had been in many dangerous situations, after all, she had Natsu on her team, but this had never been less terrifying. After a moment, she turned to Yukino - "You're right. But that still doesn't answer why I suddenly became so small. Wait a second. Crux may have the answers.”
Lucy pulled out her Crux key and said - "Open, Gate of the Southern Cross, Cux." - But nothing happened. She immediately became angry and shouted - "So this sealed my magic too!"
"I do not think so." - Yukino said - 'I can still feel it, although barely. Maybe you just don't have enough right now to summon the spirit.”
“I was shrunk once and I could, even though they were my size, so I don't think so.” - Lucy said.
After a moment of silence, Yukino said - "Maybe Star Dress will work."
“I can always try.” - Lucy said, then took Crux's key and said - "Star Dress, Southern Cross."
This time it worked and Lucy, accepting the wisdom of her spirit, immediately began searching for information about her situation.
