Due to reasons unknown, powerful, reality warping magic has begun to appear to certain individuals across the world. These individuals are seemingly chosen at random from the everyday populaces on the face of the Earth. While there appears to be no limit to the strange and fantastic powers granted to these individuals, the single 'rule' appears to be that a chosen individual must say "I wish" in order for the magic to take effect. The duration of the power given to the chosen individuals appears to vary wildly, some for only a few hours, while some may possess it for years.
At this moment, the power has chosen several individuals:
The Veltman family: A bullish husband to a long suffering wife and their two children.
The Fischels: A spineless man and his scheming, reluctant wife
Rebecca Armitage: A down on her luck college student.
There are also reports of others gaining access, though their identities have yet to be confirmed.
