Koneko separated from the group to test out her abilities. She went out into a forest looking for a fight, or something to practice on. Luckily for her she seems to run into low level monsters. Low enough to test out her abilities on her own. The defeated monsters seem to be dropping a lot of HP potions and AP (Ability Point) potions. Before Koneko knew it, she was on a solo grind. Testing out abilities and gaining EXP, thus raising her level significantly. When she decided to look at her menu to check for a map to town again, she notice that she had gain her Level number into double digits! Koneko was so surprised, she's glad no one saw the look on her face! Then she decided to change locations.
Koneko walks to a different area, hoping to find something different from the monsters and drops she could find. She finds herself going deeper into the forest, still close to the town she and the others started in but far enough that none of them could get to Koneko easily. Koneko looks around for monsters to find and defeat, but couldn't find any yet. Then something gets her attention, some blushes were weirdly placed next to a path. Koneko goes over a pushes the oddly placed bushes aside to find a hidden road? Curiosity fills her mind and she walks down the path. The trees get thicker and a light fog covers the area. Koneko thinks about turning back when she sees a fork in the path. One heads to a cave, she could hear noises from it, and the other continues on in the forest.
