The Dursleys were a normal family, thank you very much, but they have a problem, Petunia Dursleys sister Lily Potter got herself killed and now they have to raise their freak nephew.
Harry Potter is a young boy who has just turned 10 years old, he was small for his age, very thin and physically weak, because
his relatives starve him a lot.
