To start it off, so that this story doesn't feel wierd, Harry is 18 and all other characters are aged up in relation to him.
Hagrid dropped Harry off in Diagon Alley for him to gather his school supplies. "That store over there is Flourish and Blott's it's where ye'll find yer textbooks for first year. I have tah pick up some groundskeeping supplies, so I'll meet yah back at the Leaky Cauldron when yer done." He then walked off as Harry entered the bookstore.
When Harry entered, he saw that the shopkeeper was busy with another student so he decided to explore instead to see if he could find any of the books on his own. As he walked around he noticed a girl sitting at a table. He decided to walk up to her to say hi. He noticed that she was dressed in fairly normal clothing, just jeans and a tee shirt, certainly nothing like the robes most of the witches and wizards had been wearing that he'd seen so far. She clearly wasn't raised by wizards either. "Hello there!" He said as he sat down next to her. He looked at the book she was reading. It seemed to be a spellbook of some kind.
"Hello," She said not looking up from her book. "What is it?"
"Sorry if I'm bothering you, I'll be going now." He said timidly as he scooted away.
She put down her book and looked towards him. "Wait, please stay for a bit. Sorry if I came off as rude, I just didn't expect someone to come up to me, I wanted to make sure you were actually talking to me."
"It's ok, I didn't want to bother you. My Aunt Petunia always scolds me for that." Harry said flinching a bit as he remembered some of the ways his aunt punished him.
"I see, well, don't worry, you're not a bother to me." She smiled as she closed her book and focused on Harry. "My Name's Hermione."
"Harry!" He held out his hand and shook with Hermione. "What were you reading?"
"Oh, just some of the books we're going to need for hogwarts. You are also here for that, right?"
"Of course, I just don't know where to find those books. Would you mind helping me? The store keeper looks busy at the moment."Of course, these books were really easy to find though." She starts leading Harry through the bookstore as she collected the books. After a few minutes she had a stack of them and was ready to give them to Harry. She was expecting Harry to just grab the books, but was surprised to see him get down onto his knees and kiss her rather dirty sneakers. She blushed and even nearly dropped the books she was carrying. "Wh-what are you doing?"
"I'm sorry miss Hermione... Is that not how you're supposed to thank a woman for doing you a favor?" Harry asked sheepishly as he got back up.
Hermione stood there gobbsmacked at the way Harry had been so casual about that, as if he didn't see what was so odd about doing such a thing. "Wh-who taught you that?"
"My aunt Petunia obviously." He said smiling still unaware about how wrong this situation is.
"Would you like to go back to the table for a bit? I need to sit down." She said flustured as she rushed towards the table.
Harry followed her and sat down alongside her.
"So... what else did your aunt teach you?" Hermione asked after a bit. Her voice had a bit of a nervous curiosity behind it.
"Would you like me to give you a foot massage miss granger?" Harry asked with a smile.
Hermione's heart was racing. A boy was offering to give her a foot massage just like that? She nodded and watched as Harry got down on his knees under the table and began taking off her sneakers. She was left in her black stockings and he began gently rubbing the soles of her feet. Hermione was surprised by how good it was and let out a noise of happiness at the feeling. Hermione had never imagined how good it would feel to have someone at her feet devoting all their energy into plesing her like this. Suddenly, the massage was over and Harry stood back up and sat down next to her.
"How did I do?"
"You did amazing Harry, would you be able to meet me at the station tommorrow. I want to share a cabin with you. I'll meet you by the entrance to the platform."
"Sounds like a plan." Harry said smiling. This was the first person he met who was nice to him. He saw that the storekeeper was free and took his books to pay for them. "See you tommorrow Hermione!"
