Lana and Stephen had just finished supper, after which Stephen helped Lana to clean up. Afterwards, Stephen went upstairs to play on his game console, while Lana settled on the couch with a book. Both cousins had just got settled in to their respective rooms when the multicolored kryptonite kicked in. Lana was shrunk down to a height of five and a half inches.
