Bears are usually known for their stoicism and quiet wisdom; Brun, however, is all sound and fury in his pursuit of the powers of the Wyld. He was banished from the Wyld Tree for daring to question the religious preconceptions of its elders. To put it into perspective, being unable to visit the holy tree, from which all magic flows, is considered one of the most humiliating and devastating blows a bear can be dealt. He feared that he would live out the rest of his life isolated and without spiritual purpose. However, during his desperate meditations, he discovered other methods of harnessing the Wyld; and now, overcome by fury, he bends those forbidden methods towards getting revenge on those wronged him...
 Sana

Vows of chastity. Vows of poverty. Vows of obedience. Sana's strictly adhered to the tenants of the Wyld for her entire life... but, as the rot encroaches across the kingdom, it seems like she'll have to abandon her vows, for the greater good. She's spent the last few years trying to cure those corrupted by the rot using an old spirit stone, but this trial has proven largely fruitless. She simply doesn't get enough power out of a single stone, especially now that she seems to have drained it of its energy. No; she has to find more. Perhaps, once she's collected enough of these spirit stones, she'll be able to finally put a stop to the rot. In order to accomplish such a feat, however, she fears she'll have to stare into the abyss...
 Ghor

Ghor is unique among the heroes in the fact that literally nobody seems to know who he is. He seems to be a quiet, and frankly dim-witted little bear who's spent all his time isolated in nature, researching the Wyld through his own means. His insistence on spending his every single waking moment connecting with nature, however, has over the years afforded him prodigious magical power, unlike what most shamans would be capable of in their entire lives. Thus, in their desperation to stomp out the rot, the elders have convinced Ghor to make an attempt on the crown, despite his desire for isolation and severe aversion to politics, and indeed, conversations in general...
 Yordana
Fight: 2 | Body: 5 | Wits: 4 | Spirit: 5
A cackling crone whose sheer skill at magic and mastery over fate has allowed her a seat among the elders of the clan, despite the hesitations of the rest of the council. While they disagree with her methods, no one could deny the results. What she lacks in the physical stature typical of her species, she more than makes up for in magical prowess. Her curses are legendary, and feared across the kingdom even by those who typically do not believe in the influence of the Wyld. This has made her prospects of grabbing the crown of Armello surprisingly likely, a fact which both intrigues and terrifies her peers in the bear clan...  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
