Innerspace

Debbie began to form the idea in her head. She was a nurse, and these people were either sick or hurt. Why shouldn’t she use this shrink ray to help treat them. It was probably a better use for it than whatever Steve would do with it at work, or letting the kids get their hands on it.

Of course, Debbie was only searching for a way to justify her actions, rather than actual caring about her patients. She was more looking to play good and see exactly what the shrink ray could do.

Her thoughts were interrupted by Irina’s voice. “Hey we just got a new patient in room 12,” she said. “I’ll go grab Dr. Horn too.” Debbie watched as her PCT walked off to grab the doctor. She hid the shrink ray on her hip and walked towards the room. Who was waiting on the bed in the room?
