Lisa picks up her book and heads over to Ben who is about to read his own book. Lisa sits down next to him with a smile. Ben looks up and nervously smiles back.
“Hi Ben,” Lisa says.
“Hi Lisa.” Ben says.
“I haven’t seen you in a while,” Lisa says. “What have you been up to?”
“Not much really.” Ben says. “Just reading really.”
Ben and Lisa talk for the next hour, while Ben is shy and introverted he is able to talk to people when he is conformable around them. Lisa and Ben had been talking on occasion for the past couple of months, they enjoy each others company and would always look forward to seeing each other. Lisa and Ben talk about all sorts of things, school, books and what they’ve been up to. Lisa knows that Ben has trouble making friends and she’s sort of surprised as Ben is really nice and easy to get a long with.
Lisa feels the remote in her pocket. She thinks about what she’s going to do with it. Would she show Ben the remote and the two could have fun with it or will she just leave it alone?
