Debbie started to back away but saw the looming shadow that was her son's hand approaching her. She barely had time to scream as she wa engulfed in Derek's hand and raised up to his giant face.
"Well, look what we have hear," he said while licking his lips. "Looks like my mom left me another snack," he said, teasing his potential prey.
Debbie wanted to signal him or use the shrink ray to get out of this, but she was being held too tightly in her son's fist.
"Maybe I should eat you like the last toy she left me," he said with a sinister laugh.
As Derek rose his tiny mom up to his mouth, he could hear her screams. Normally, he wouldn't have cared or paid any attention to this but there was something different about he'd screams.
Lifting her up to eye level, it soon hit Derek that he was holding his own tiny mother. "Mom?!" he said in amazement. "What happened".
In relief that she was no longer about to be eaten, Debbie called up to her giant son, "I wanted to make sure you found the snack I left you," referring to Li.
"Yes and she was delicious," Derek responded. "Jeez, you gotta be careful. I was about to eat you too."
"Well I appreciate you not doing that."
"And you do look very delicious," Derek said. There was an awkward pause as Debbie realized Derek was staring st her a little too long. She may not have been out of the woods yet.
"So," she said, trying to get his attention elsewhere. "I was thinking we take the shrink ray to the mall and find more snacks there. Some mother son bonding time."
Derek paused, his mouth still watering. "Hmmm....interesting idea," he said. "I think I should...
