Lisa and Derek decided to travel up to their mother's ear. Since she was laying in her side while they were standing on her shoulder, it definitely seemed like the safest option.
What the two children did not count on though, was their massive mother falling asleep. "What was that?" Derek asked nervously. As hey heard a deep rumble coming from their mother.
The children froze and stood in silence as the shoulder began to move up and down ever so slightly. The the loud noise happened again. Debbie was snoring.
"Shit, she fell asleep," Lisa said, annoyed. "Come on, we gotta get to that ear."
The two tiny bugs managed to climb off her shoulder onto their mother's neck. When they did this, Debbie flinched, nearly knocking the children off. "I guess she's ticklish," Derek joked.
Lisa simply rolled her eyes at this. They continued climbing until the reached the vast expanse of their mother's ear canal.
"You ready?" Lisa asked Derek.
"Yeah."
The two children began yelling at their mom to wake up and help them. After several seconds, their mom let out a noise that sounded similar to a cough. Did the sleeping giant hear them?
