As the night went on, Derek and his guests got more and more intoxicated. Derek walked around the party, taking it all in. He felt a drunken sense of pride of how the night had played out. There were about 30 people here, all in costume and having s great time.
People were playing beer pong, dancing to a solid playlist Derek had made and weee drinking a ton of beer. He found his girlfriend Claire, still dressed as a Hershey's bar and walked over and kissed her.
She gave him a tipsy laugh and grabbed his chest. "You're gonna have a good time after the party," she sexily whispered in his ear. Derek kissed her back and walked upstairs. He thought he saw his best bud Johnny take a girl up here but could not find her.
He passed his room and saw the shrink ray laying out. Not wanting anyone to walk up here and find it, he slipped it into his back pocket.
As Derek walked back downstairs, he gave some random guy a high five and laughed. He saw his girlfriend alone in the kitchen and went to talk to her. He felt someone bump into him, which turned on the shrink ray. As he walked towards the kitchen, he temporarily lost his balance and leaned against the wall. This caused the shrink ray to activate and strike someone.
