That morning, Nicole awakened a bit later than usual. After going through her daily routine and getting dressed and organized, Nicole quickly sent off a text to her two best friends, Bianca and Patricia.
"Hey come over as soon as you can, got something important to show you!"
They both replied that they would be there in about 15 minutes.

Nicole opened the door to Bianca and Patricia. Both were 7th graders in Nicole's class, and the same age as Nicole at 12 years old. Bianca was very small for her age, both short and skinny, though most boys their age thought she was attractive. She was also half black and half latino.
Patricia on the other hand couldn't have looked more different than Bianca. The was overweight, had pasty skin, red hair, and braces.
"So what's so important?" Bianca asked, as the two entered the house.
"Oh nothing, just that I'm the proud new owner of a shrink ray!" Nicole exclaimed.
Both Bianca and Patricia started laughing as Nicole pulled out what looked like a squirt gun from behind her back.
"Nicole what the fuck are you talking about," Patricia laughed.
"Yeah that squirt gun looks pretty serious," Bianca added in.
"I guess I'll need a demonstration," said Nicole as she aimed the shrink ray at the T.V. Pulling the trigger she reduced it to about 1 inch across.
"Holy shit!" Bianca yelled as both girls looked on in amazement.
"Believe me now?" Nicole said as she grew it back.
"Does it work on people," Patricia asked curiously.
"Yeah, why?"
"Can we test it on your brother?"
"Why would you wanna do that?" Nicole asked.
"He's hot!" Patricia responded.
"Ewww that's gross, Patricia!" Nicole said in disgust.
"Well it's true," Bianca chimed in, agreeing with her friend.
"He's way older than you." Nicole started to say but saw she was not going to win this argument. "Okay, he's up in his room."
The three girls quietly walked up to Derek's room and saw the door was unlocked. "Okay Patty, this was your stupid idea," Nicole said in annoyance. "What did you have in mind?"
Does Patricia want them to shrink and spy on Derek or shrink Derek and play with him.
